The clothes of Cosimo I, Eleonora di Toledo and don Garzia
October 30, 2020Hello lovelies,
right before the borderes in Europe closed in March I was in Italy visiting Rome and Florence and attending a tea party. We were one of the last night-trains that made it back to Austria before the lockdown in Italy.
It came to me that I never shared the pictures I took in the Palazzo Pitti, the fashion museum in Florence. This museum was very special because I saw the items described in the pattern of fashion from Janet Arnold. I was not aware the items were in that museum when I suddenly found myself in a very dark room with the clothes I immediately recognized from the book.
Usually I size the pictures down to 800px maximum but I thought everybody would enjoy the pictures in high-resolution. As stated before, the room was very dark so I tried my best to photoshop them.
These are the clothes from Don Garzia, the first pictures are the sleeves, the other is a cape.
Here are the clothes of Cosimo I de' Medici
Lastly the clothes of Eleonora di Toledo.
All the best,
Auris Lothol
