International Lolita Day Summer 2017

June 05, 2017

Hello lovelies,

last Saturday the biannual International Lolita day was celebrated all around the world. It always takes place on the first Saturday in June and December.
I organized the meet-up in Vienna and we went to the State Hall (Prunksaal).

The architecture was splendid and there was an exhibition of Maria-Theresia.

The light was not good for pictures but we did the best out of it.

I wore my Dramatic rose jsk from Angelic Pretty and paired it off with a vintage peignoire I got on etsy. Shoes and socks are offbrand from Aliexpress but the bag was from Innocent world.

And here are some random pictures. The flowers in my hair, which are nearly invisible in most of the pictures, can be found in these pictures.

And of course the obligatory selfies:

We did another group picture because M. joined us. Lucky for us the light was much better.

Afterwards we went to L'osteria but we were not really happy with the service and the quality of the food. But I guess it's more quantity over quality for them because the pizza was HUGE.
M. ordered a pasta special and it was greasy and bland. What a shame. They also mixed up my reservation even though I booked it online, called to confirm the reservation and then again called 5 min before we arrived. In the end we didn't get a seat in the nice and airy place but in the stuffy almost 30c° room. I can only speak for myself but I was drenched it sweat after 5 min.

I hope everyone had a nice time at the ILD.
See you next week for our monthly lolita teekränzchen!

All the best,

Auris Lothol
