Bring & Buy from the Lolita Teaparty

October 27, 2017

Hello lovelies,

here is part two of the lolita weekend; the bring and buy, or as I call it, buy all you can.
It was held at Weberknecht again and it was pretty stuffed because there were so many people and even more clothes.

This year I was sadly on a budget but I did manage to snatch my dream dress, Krad Lanrete's Le portrait de marie jsk in dusty purple. I was very happy about that because the colourway was sold out in most of the places or they only had the wrong size.

I do not want to be a party pooper but this famous picture in the middle of Marie-Antoinette is actually her sister Maria-Josepha.

It is ano offbrand but cute peach-coloured dress.

The cutsew top reminded me of a blue top I got from DreamV. And I need more purple in my wardrobe.

I was a bit surprised because the collar was from h&m. Sometimes they really have cute items.

I have more summer than cute winter clothes and I am always on the look-out for bolero or cardigans. The cardigan has a bit of a used feeling but I don't care. It's cute.

And it has heart buttons!

For this occasion I wore my Quaint Lass dress with my cute little birds again. I can't get enough of bird prints, especially if they are fat birds. The blouse is from magic tea party and the flowers are from claire's. The wrist cuffs are from Bodyline.

All the best,

Auris Lothol

  1. Ooooh, thank you for the info on that Marie Josephine portrait, I never knew that. And it's important because I bookmarked that as good Marie Antoinette hair inspiration, so I better rethink my ideas before I offend all the history nerds at the meet. :P But in all seriousness, it's amazing that you found your dream dress at the bring and buy. It's incredible when your rare, difficult to find dream dresses pop up for sale at reasonable prices and in the least expected places. I'm still on the lookout for my final one - it appeared once before, but I couldn't find a shopping service that would travel to the store since it was a Closet Child branch kind of outside of Tokyo. But if it appeared once, it will appear again one day.
Also, that pink cardigan is so cute, I love it!
