    Hello lovelies,

even though I didn't manage a lot of costumes, the costumes I did were very elaborate and had a lot of details. So I can proudly say that I have been super productive in 2016.

I re-did this costume I made back in 2013 because I was not satisfied with it anymore. I added pearls, rhinestones and remade the bust plate. I spent about 2 months on my sofa hand stitching everything.

In between the Trinity Blood cosplay I also made the Romantic Jewels Sakizo Cosplay.

I started this cosplay in March and ended it in July. I definitely don't do easy costumes.

I still don't have any pictures of my next costume. And it's a huge shame because I really came to like this costume. It's based on an art nouveau Ariel version by Hannah Alexander.See the whole sewing process here.

I started this dress in July and finished it in September in time for Connichi. Just to find out that the weather forecast was at 12C° with rain. Great.

The only cosplay I bought was Agent Carter.
I was really happy about the great quality of the item even though I had my doubts when I bought it from aliexpress. The only thing that still needs change is the front lace wig.

There are a few other cosplays I started but didn't finish (yet) so I will not put them on this list.
The list is pretty short for a cosplayer but I actually don't see myself as a cosplayer anymore. My love for historical fashion just outweighed and I tried to do more historical costumes.
I will post my lolita and my non-lolita fashion year soon. And I added a new category: historical fashion.

    All the best,

    Hello lovelies,

over the next three days I will share my cosplays I made that year and outfits I wore.
To be honest, I wanted to do a Top 10 cosplay list but then I realized that I was suuuuper lazy that year and only finished 5 cosplays. Ugh.
So here they are, chronologially started from my first to last.

I made Anri Yoshiwara from Adekan around February/March. I wanted to wear it for the Viennese cosplay Ball and I also finished it the day of the ball. Everything is sewn and ribbon stitched. It took me AGES and I even pulled all nighters for that.
I also wore the cosplay for the Leipziger book faire (LBM) on Saturday.

The next cosplay is Ange from cross Ange.
I also wore it for two conventions, first for Animuc but it was too cold so I wore a coat over it and secondly for Made in Japan. It was so hot that day. I think there is really no inbetween.

No per-se a cosplay but a costume was my Medieval outfit.
I made it in June-July for a medieval faire in Vienna. I put so many hours in the costume, hand stitching most of the parts and trying to make it accurate before ditching it and saying, fuck it I'll do what I want. Well, and that was the result.

I made a Hungarian court dress for my Hungary cosplay from Axis Powers Hetalia. It is made out of green velvet and white satin. It also took me a long time especially for the dress and the apon (which is not visible at all sdfghjkl). But I really like it. But, just my luck, that day was rainy and super cold and I changed after not even 3-4h.

My last cosplay was a partner cosplay with Hannerbell from Deviantart.
I normally don't add a lot of trimmings but it grew on me. Everything was handmade again, even the trousers because I wanted them to match the cuff and front part.
The hat was selfmade too and gave me quite a headache but it worked out in the end...

Tomorrow I will continue with my Top 5 Lolita outfits and the day after with non-lolita but Jfashion outfits Top 10.

    All the best,

    Aurîs☆

    Hello  lovelies,

I tried to gather all of my cosplays together for a review of this year but I noticed that although I wore some of the cosplays on a con, I didn't have good pictures. And with a few I don't even have bad pictures...because I was really too lazy for photoshootings this year...

    • Female Austria, worn at LBM 13 and Japancity
    •  Female Norway worn at Dokomi and Aninite
    •  Chrono Guards - November worn at Connichi

    • Viking Norway, worn at Fuyu Con

    • Hetaween Hungary worn at a cosplay even in vienna and at made in japan.
And these I managed to do and even wore to cons but do not have pictures...>_<
    • Takashiro from Bible Black, worn at Akicon

    •  I redid my old Hikari Cosplay and made a new one. Worn at YaYuCo

    • Mirka Fortuna from Trinity Blood, worn at Made in Japan and Animagic.

8 Cosplays this year. That's not a lot but not too bad either. :)

As for fashion outfits I got more than last year...

Gyaru fashion (Hime gyaru, hime lolita and himekaji)

    Lolita coords:

Long post short, it was a good year.
Next year I'll probably do less cosplays but they will be even fancier :)
I wish you all the best for next year!

    Hello lovelies,

2012 is quickly coming to an end and I always get very nostalgic in those few days before the new year.
I thought about this years cosplays and how they pushed me into creating things I had never done before and finishing them successfully. This makes me very proud. I know my skills are not a 100% yet but I will do my best in 2013 to hone my skills even more!
Here are some of my favourite cosplays in 2012:

    Shiro from Adekan, Children Vers.

female Austria from Hetalia, Dirndl Vers.
    Shiro from Adekan

female England from Hetalia, historical Vers.

    Kagome from Strawberry Panic
I also want to thank my photographers Isa and Christian Krzywoblocki. Another huge thank you gets Lena, just for her patience with me during some of our sewing sessions. I can be a dictator at some times :D
