    Hello lovelies,

it's been ages since I wrote about our Lolita Teekränzchen in Vienna. Wait, no, actually that is not true.
My last post about it was from January 2020 and we all know why.
But we have had Teekränzchen quite regularly since May 2021, I think?
I last visited the Teekränzchen in October or November 2021, afterwards the numbers surged and they were just too high for my comfort. I, therefore, organized the meet-up but didn't attend.
It's actually hysterical looking at the pictures from 2020, the world was not even thinking of a pandemic or a third world war and now we have both.

    Lolita Teekränzchen February

In 2020 the last Teekränzchen I attended was before our trip to Italy. We knew that Corona had spread throughout Italy but we decided to take the risk and travel there because only weak and elderly died of this mysterious sickness and we were young and full of life. How ignorant we were.
We met up at Ullmann's Zuckerbäckerei again and had a great day. My face looks a bit round and disfigured but that's probably the angle and my silly grin.

I had a delicious bagel and some cake, I can't remember what the exact flavours were anymore. The bagel looks like it had goat cheese and spinach? And the red cake in front of the second picture is probably a strawberry tartelette. But the one in the back? No idea.

I wore my Mucha dress for this occasion, it is a simple coord but I like it. Especially the short hairstyle and colour suited me. The shoes are from DreamV and the rest is offbrand.

For the event I decided to change shoes as they were not winder-hardy at all.
But I think that the white lace up shoes also matched the outfit very well. And the picture below was my combined look with scarf and jacket.
I still don't have a decent lolita winter coat, only spring or autumn coats. That should really be on my to-buy list.

    International Lolita Day

The next time I met the girls was for International Lolita Day (ILD) as a substitute for our Teekränzchen in June. We went for a picnic in the park.
    M. and I made sandwiches, a pasta salad and packed a lot of sweet snacks.

I remember that it was super sunny and windy. It's always windy in Vienna but of course, it was windier than usual and my hair was everywhere.
Usually I do not like picnic because there is just no bathroom if you need one but it was the only thing to do and be in the covid guidelines. Restaurants and shops were still closed during that time, or had rules to only allow a certain group size. Honestly I do not remember it anymore, this year was such a blur.

We were not the only ones enjoying the nice weather in the park.

For this occasion, I wore my baby the stars shine bright dress and styled it up to look more vintage/50s.

Eva took the first two pictures, you can see more of her art on her website evamarini.at

The other girls from the community organized a few zoom meet ups but I already had enough work zoom meetings so I did not attend even one. That was a real shame but I just couldn't bring myself to dress up and sit in front of a camera where only one person could talk. Meh.

And that was it for 2020. Weird that I did not post them earlier but I guess I was just stressed.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend,

    Auris Lothol

    Hello lovelies,

after all those crazy months I realized that I never shared the pictures on one of the last Teekränzchen for this year. The last one was in February and up unil now we did not have an event. The next event was last weekend for International Lolita day where we decided to go for a picknick. This way we could all social distance but still see and and talk to each other.

So, back to January. We went to a Cafe in Vienna but they only had an all-you-can eat brunch buffet which was definitely not listed on their website. It was the first time we changed location but it was a good decision. The Cafe we went to afterwards was Cafe Humel and it was actually just around the corner.
We were so lucky and just got the last table for a larger group. Hooray.

Last time I was not really that fond of the cafe but this time the waiters were friendly and the food was amazing. See my post about it here.
I had a hummus falafel bowl with pita bread and it was delicious.

For dessert I got sweet dumplings with Zwetschkenröster. I shared this plate with M. because it was so much, I couldn't have finished it on my own.

I wore my Infanta JSK - Portrait of a lover and blouse in a simple but elegant coordinate. The shoes are from DreamV but I only wore them for the pictures. It was much too cold for them outside.

    Stay safe and healthy,

    Auris Lothol

    Hello lovelies,

I am super late, as always, with my posts about our lolita Teekränzchen. At the moment there are no "big" meet-ups planned and no tea party, therefore our small monthly meet ups are the only regular events.
In this post I will combine the November and December Teekränzchen to catch up a bit.

    November

We went to the Hard Rock cafe but we were so disappointed. The quality and quantity of the food has massively decreased. The cocktail I ordered tasted ok  but I had better for a cheaper price. The burger was also much smaller than before, the only thing that stayed massive was the dessert.

The other girls were not thrilled either, E. even said she ate the most expensive cheesecake ever.

I wore my new dress I got earlier at the bring and buy. It is a bit too big for me and I am thinking about inserting some ribbons to tighten it at the back.
The dress is from Lady sloth, the rest is offbrand.

    December

This Teekränzchen was at Campus, it is actually near Little Britain at the outskirts of Vienna but smack in the middle of the new economic department of Vienna University.
Even though it was Sunday, the place was packed with Students and there were only a few waiters and waitresses. The constantly kept forgetting our order or brought the wrong order.

I had a burger, which was good, and a cheesecake which was meh. It had a weird texture, not soft and fluffy but more like a sponge cake, and it was not sweet enough. At least for my preference.

I had an eye infection and couldn't wear the circle lenses. Therefore my face and eyes look really tiny. It is so weird how a few milimeters of coloured contacts can change the complete look.

I wore my Metamorphose dress with the bolero I made. (Remember the blogpost from 2018?). I also made the choker myself, it was one of my first choker projects. I later found out that Liz Lisa almost made the same.

    All the best,

    Hello lovelies,

the last two posts where October and Halloween posts and I will continue this theme with our Lolita Teekränzchen from October.
We once again visited Little Britain as a big group with most of the ladies sticking to a more or less halloween theme. I even brought a bit of decoration from home to make it more halloween-ish.

I wore my, then new, Hufflepuff dress from Violet Fane. If you are new to this blog then be aware, I am a super Potterhead and probably 99,999% a typical Hufflepuff with all the ups and downs.
I couldn't finde my ruffle lace, as it was probably in the washing machine and therefore I took another top with is not so much lolita but fit the purpose.
And I don't know why but my Hufflepuff persona wears golden glasses. The ones that Harry Potter should have worn in the movies.
The rest was pretty offbrand, except for the hat. I made this myself a couple of years ago for the Harry Potter convention in Austria. Sadly, until now it was just a one time event.

On my instagram I added some sparks for my wand and it looked really cute.

As for my food I had a salmon bagel again. The bagles at Little Britain are always so crispy and crunchy, with a nice cream cheese spread. Yumy!

Then I had a chocolate caramel cheesecake, which was divine but I couldn't finish it. I was too rich and my stomach was full after a few bites.

And this was the full group, usually I reserve for 10 people and hope for the best. This time we were a lot more again but we just squished onto the table and that was okay.

    Hello lovelies,

late as always I bring you the short report about our monthly lolita Teekränzchen.
In September we went to Cafe Marks, it is located in the 7th district and has a lot of oriental styled dishes. The waitresses were very friendly and fast and the food was really good.

It was still super warm in September and we sat outside.

     M. had a breakfast with veggies, yoghurt and eggs.

I had a couscous and falafel bowl with goat cheese and apples. It was delicious.
This cafe is definitely worth a visit and I plan to go there again soon.

My outfit for this occasion was my Innocent world OP. I tried to coordinate it differently but I don't really have a lot of red items and had to reuse a lof ot items from last time.
And somehow I forgot my hair accessoires. Oops.

    All the best,

    Auris Lothol

    Hello lovelies,

late as always I bring you the August Teekränzchen.
We went to one of my favourite coffee shops in Vienna called Dirt Water. It is a cafe and an NGO, that means that all of the profit goes to water projects in poor countries. The food is amazing, very fresh and local, and they also boycott nestle, which is a huge plus. I remember sitting there the first time with M. and we wondered if we should get coffee with condensed milk but didn't order it because most of the time the restaurants use nestle. A costumer at the next table asked for the wifi password and the waiter told him, it's "fuck nestle". Perfect.
The owner of the restaurant asked us beforehand if we liked cheesecake and strawberry cake because these were the cakes of the day. That was so kind, I am pretty sure that if we had a problem with it, that they'd changed the cakes for us.

Very brown cheesecake but super delicious

The service was a bit slow at times but they told us at the beginning and therefore it was no problem and we chatted away while waiting.

A few people had left already because we were a few more.

I wore a dress from a taobao brand called dream magical, before leaving I changed the shoes because I felt the white once looked nicer. The blouse is from Angelic Pretty and the hair bow is also from dream magical.

    Hello lovelies,

our July Teekränzchen collided with the Japanese anime and manga convention Nippon Nation again and we decided to go to Cafe Halle again, which is directly next to the convention.
This year I did not attend the convention because I have been going to conventions for over 15 years and nothing changed in these years. To be honest, it is always the same and thus I decided to not spend 20€ for a day pass.
The waitress at the cafe couldn't find our reservation but she found us a table nevertheless and was super friendly during the stay.

The food was very good and I had vegan bulgur bowl with humus, eggplant, tomatoes, almonds and peach. Usually I do not eat the vegan option but this bowl was amazing.
For dessert I had a marillenknödel, dumpling filled with sweet peach and usually the dumplings are small and fluffy but I got a huge dumpling and I couldn't even eat half of it.

I wore my Cherise Cherry dress combined with an Infanta blouse. I didn't wear the headdress in ages, therefore I was very happy to finally coordinate it again.

    Have a good week,

    Auris Lothol
