    Hello lovelies,

Game city, a mini games convention, opened its doors again in Vienna. They held the event at a beautiful site, the town hall of Vienna. I was there the very first time the convention took place a few years ago and then didn't go for a few years, therefore I was very surprised how big it was and how much it grew. There were almost no food booths and only a few game stalls the first time. This time there were food trucks, merchandise shops and a big outdoor stage. I was at Gamescom in Germany once and it is still no comparison but nevertheless I was happy about the upgrade.
I took L with me and we met at 12:45 (I was on time, hooray!). There was a small queue outside already because all bags were checked but it definitely took us less than 5 minutes to enter the grounds, which was a huge thumbs up.
The first thing we did was get us an 18+ festival band because we also wanted to play the grown-up games. Haha. It was then I realized I had forgotten my purse at home. Damn. But I still got my band even though I had no ID. Phew.
We waited for about 15-30min to play the first game, Detroit-Become human. While we waited we got sour-gumi sweets, a bottle opener and a chap-stick. PS4 really didn't hold back with their merchandise. L and I then played the game and I managed to get a very stable end. The game was really good, I like it. It is already on my Amazon wishlist. Haha.
Then we roamed around and I just love being in the town hall. It is so beautiful.
I have a thing for big chandeliers.

The next game we waited for was Assassin's creed. Now I am a big fan of the games, my favourite parts were with Ezio. Renaissance Italy was a stunning setting.
This time we waited for about an hour before we were allowed to play the game. Still, not a big thing. I have seen people in line for, at that time, the newest star wars game at gamescom and they waited for 4h or more.
We had time for a few selfies.
L is not big for selfies but we made a deal that I can get one picture per meet-up. Sweet.

I liked the gameplay of the newest Assassin's creed part and I will definitely get that one too. L was a bit underwhelmed and she won't get it. After we left we all got a free Assassin's creed T-shirt. They only had one in L and I gave mine to M. It was just too large for me.

After that we just strolled through and decided to leave again. There were just too many people and my social batteries were really empty.

No idea why there was a large, yellow duck but it was cute.

My haul from the ps4 booth plus I won a game at a ruffle:

This was my outfit from that day, I was even asked for pictures even though, in my opinion, my coord was plain and simple.
    Cardigan: Axes femme
    dress: Rabbit tooth
    Alice band: Claire's
    Everything else is offbrand.

Selfies in good light make everything better.

    All the best,

    Hello lovelies,

last Saturday M. and I went out to eat and afterwards look at some art in the Art history museum in Vienna. We both have an annual pass, it was not cheap but after two times going to the museum it already pays off.

We ate a late lunch at Fusan, a Japanese restaurant near the museum. It is one of my sister's favourite and we have been there a lot. The quality of the food is always very good and the price is pretty decent too.

I ordered a bento box and an extra set of rainbow maki. It was so much to eat and I managed to only leave over 3 maki.

    M. hat duck in a bowl of rice and salad. He is still talking about the crispiness of the duck today.

This time we were at the ancient history part with pieces from the Egyptian, Roman, and Greek history. I was fascinated by the hairdo of some of the female roman busts. Their hair was so intricately braided and curled, it was amazing.
Afterwards we stumbled on to some pieces from the 16th to 18th hundred.

At first I thought he had tentacles. haha.
Afterwards we sat down at the Cafe and drank some tea. The architectural design of this area is so beautiful.
It is too bad that my pictures doesn't give it credit.

My outfit for that day, due to the heat, was simple.

    Blouse: Magic tea party
    Skirt: La petite fille
    Shoes: rosemarie seoir
    Necklace: Metamorphose temps de fille

    More pictures made at home.

     M. made my hairdo and the pictures.

    All the best,

    Hello lovelies,

I will attend the Metamorphose tea party on the 17th of October 2015 in Vienna and I am having a really hard time doing my coord.
This is what I have until now.
I will wear my lace up doll jsk with purple ankle socks from wego and black shoes from Jesus diamante.
Underneath is a Dirndl blouse and on top is a black vintage bag. I am still missing jewelry and a hat or a headpiece or something. The problem is, that my closet is full with white or pink things but I don't owe a lot in black (except for shoes and bags).

Last Friday Matthias and I went to the Musical Mozart.
I wore my Madame Rococo skirt from La petite fille with a bodyline blouse and a hat from Taobao. It was not a lolita coord, my petticoat are too voluminous for this skirt (it looked ridiculous), but it was a very nice otome kei coord.

But it was so cold already that in the end I wore a Liz Lisa cardigan and a primark vest on top of that (and a coat on top of everything, I am always freezing, srsly).
Oh and look at my bangs, those lazy little fuzzy guys. They are mocking me.

Matthias looks so enthusiastic, this is unbelievable.

We had a fun night at the musical. Matthias is not a fan of musicals though so we only go once a year but he liked Elisabeth and I think he also like Mozart. The music was nice but I thought there were a lot of plotholes and some things just didn't make any sense for me. But the whole show was spectacular and especially the visual effects.
The only thing I really, really disliked were the costumes. They mixed modern and baroque and created something grotesque. I get it, that people can't wear historically accurate baroque costumes on stage but this was really weird.

Then on Saturday I went to a bar with friends. We had two people over from Germany so this was a reason to drink some alcohol, in my case Malibu-Ananas.
I liked my make-up and contouring on that day.
My hair was not made yet but I had to take pictures. And I think, this is the first time I show my forehead. gasp.

Ignore my doll in the back, and all the chaos.
But I looked super cute then. And I loe matching pink dresses with pearl necklaces.

Sunday was my sewing day and Matthias and I really need to stop binge watching Criminal minds. But I really like this show a lot.
We made Cheeseburger with avocado-coriander sauce, Pumpkin chips and tzatziki dip. I was so full afterwards, I could hardly move.

My half eaten burger. It was really good and thanks to the avocado it even looks healthy.

    Have a nice week,

    Hello lovelies,

it's already June and I am super busy. Tomorrow is the first try out for a video project I already had a mind for over a year and  therefore I am very excited.
There are a lot of new sewing projects but I don't have any pictures yet. But I want to share some outfit of the days and coord.

Last weekend I went to a 50s-60s party. I really  like the music of that time but I also know, that I'd never want to have lived at that time. There is still so much racism, sexism and homophobia but it got better and we went a long way from the 50s. So I rather enjoy the fashion and music from them but in my time, thanks a lot.

Front and back of my hair! It's all messy but it was my first try and I think I did well.
Also, see the cute penguin earphones? Aren't they just the cutest?
I made the dress myself btw, back in 2012. see the entry here

Then last Tuesday I met my mother for lunch. We went for some asian food at Akakiko but I was not very fond of their bento boxes. In all other asian restaurants, they serve bento boxes with sushi or maki, and/or spring rolls or other goodies. But at Akakiko I had Bulgogi bento, with Bulgogi, three different kind of salad (I really dislike salad), rice and a mini (bought) cupcake. And they are the most expensive asian chain around. I then remembered why my last time at Akakiko was last year.
I wore my skirt for the first time and even though I gained so much way in the past year, I still managed to fit in...somehow. Urgh. The gym is calling again.
Skirt: Empress Eugénie by Rose Trianon
    Blouse: Angelic Pretty
    Fascinator/Hat: Bodyline
    Jewelry: Bijou Brigit/Offbrand

On Wednesday, Matthias and I went for food in Vienna's pride house, the "Rosa-Lila Villa". The restaurant called "Willendorf" has excellent food and drinks. I ate white fish with a pumpkin seed coating. Afterwards I ate Topfenschmarrn with apricots and it was super delicious too. They also have some nice cocktails and the one with blackberry reminded me of a drink I drank as a child (without alcohol though) called Ribena. I have no idea if it's still on the market but I have the urge to buy and drink it again.
Dress: Dramatic Rose by Angelic pretty (I am still in need of a better petticoat...)
    Blouse: Angelic pretty
    Rest: offbrand

Today was the Regenbogenparade (gay pride parade in Vienna, but literally translates to rainbow parade) and I went there with a few friends but the weather was horrible because it rained, stopped, sunshine, rain. I try to be at the parade every year. It is always a blast.
Austria always tries to presents herself as such a liberal and open country for homosexuals but let me tell you, she is far from it. Homosexual people can't get married, they are sometimes ridiculed in public for holding hands or kissing their significant other and families cut off their offspring because they can't live with them being homosexual. But hey, at least we had homosexual and heterosexual traffic lights and now everybody is happy. Not.

Dress: Flower Garrett Juliet Long OP by Baby the stars shine bright
    shoes: DreamV
    The rest is offbrand.
It was so cold I wrapped my scarf around my shoulders because I didn't really have a matching bolero or jacket. I am still in need of a nice one.
The first picture was made when I was still in my pyjamas. I am not satisfied with the outcome of the hairdo but it was sufficient. I wanted to do a rococo inspired hairdo for that outfit to make it more rococo like but I think in the end my hair rather reminded me of an Edwardian hairdo. Oh well.

    Have a wonderful weekend,
