    Hello lovelies,

I have another quarantine project which was actually made with scrap material from a bigger project because I hate to throw away expensive material.

It all started with a piece of buckram I had cut away from the sewing pattern. It was about 10cm long and 12 cm wide, not enough for most projects but just enough for a base of a small hat, bonnet or a round head dress. I decided to go for a round head dress, because they are easy to make and also a very quick project.

    You will need these materials:
    • Buckram
    • Fashion fabric
    • Felt fabric
    • scissors
    • needle
    • thread
    • pins
    • flower heads
    • glue gun
    • 1 or 2 Hair clips

Open the compass and measure out 5cm. Draw a circle on the buckram. It should be 10cm in diameter now. Afterwards, open the compass a bit further to 7cm and draw another circle but on the fashion fabric. Cut out both and lay the buckram piece on the left side of the fashion fabric.

I always use this method to tuck in the seams when working with round shapes:
Take your needle and thread and hand sew around the circle. If you get to the beginning, don't fasten it to the fabric put pull it like making frills. Like magic the fabric will slowly close over the fabric will close over the buckram.

After that, cut the lace about 2 or 3 times the circumference (which is 31,416). Two times the circumference would be 63cm and three times 94,5cm. Of course, anything between that is fine too.

You can either go over it with the sewing machine, set with the largest stitch length, or hand stitch it.

Afterwards pull the thread carefully until the frills form.

Pin the lace to your round base, about 1cm to 1,5cm from the edge and handsew it onto the fabric. I would not recommend using the machine for this.

Take the felt piece and lay it over the back side, stitch over it with a hemming stitch. This step hides the buckram and adds even more stability.

Now it's time to take out the glue gun and glue on the hair clips. I added them to the top and bottom but both can also be glued on one side in a V- shape. If you only have one clip, that should be fine too.

And the final step is adding the flowers. But you can also add ribbons, bows, glitter, pearls or rhinestones. With this base, you can do almost anything.

    Hello lovelies,

here are my coordinates from February in June because I am a lazy bum.

The first coord is an Infanta JSK with a magic tea party blouse and dream V shoes. If you look closely you can see the ribbons in my hair.

All in pink, what a shock. The dress is from Baby the stars shine bright worn with Rosemarie seoir shoes and an offbrand bonnet.

A more casual himekaji coord with a Liz lisa dress and a red hairbow. The dress is really warm and perfect for cold temperatures.

The following is my non-lolita valentines coord, I showed it off already in another post. The skirt is from Swankiss, the top from H&M.

And this is my lolita Valentines coord for our Lolita Teekränzchen in February. The jsk is from Metamorphose and I added all the roses to it. The red blouse is hand-made and made out of chiffon.

Another softer coordinate with my Innocent world jsk and dreamV shoes and a lockshop wig. My hair was super messy, luckily this wig fits almost every outfit.

All in all, 6 coords that month. Not bad! Usually I only make it to 3 to 4 per month (about one each weekend). It is such a shame that I can not wear lolita at work.

    All the best,

    Hello lovelies,

another outfit of the day because I met up with my sister and we went to a Kusmi tea-tasting.
    My coord therefore is tea-themed!

I wore a liz lisa blouse and a bodyline skirt. The skirt reminds me of my fine floral china porcelain. The shoes are from DreamV/Yumetenbo and the tea clutch is from wonder rocket.

Close up of the make-up. The filter always hides every contouring or blush. Meh.

And another close up, this time of my brooch. It is from closet child. Isn't it super cute?

At the Kusmi shop, they had two different ice-teas and two different sweets for the guests.
One of the teas was a mint one, which I absolutely disliked because I don't like mint. The other tea was a fruity red berry tea with real raspberries! I liked it.
The dessert were very different. One was very creamy, and the other one had an intense caramel taste. Both also were made out of tea. I liked both of the dessert whereas my sister only like the creamy, tiramisu like one.

    All the best,

    Hello lovelies,

as mentioned in my sales post before, there was a wonderful bring and buy in Vienna last weekend. It was organised by GLAM (Gothic lolita Austria Mitglieder (members)) and they did a fantastic job.
They collaborated with a local gothic sales flea market and got a small space for their bring and buy.
All the pictures belong to the mistress of the lolita goes bad blog.

The event started at 12 and it was so packed already after half an hour. And more stuff came in by the minute. It was really, really packed.
Also, there was a seperate room where you could try on the clothes first before buying them.

The light was a bit weird.

Bags and shoes had their own table and both were also really packed. There was also a separate table for blouses and shirts.

(I kinda photo bombed in two pictures, this and the bottom picture..find me!)

The organisers and helpers of the bring and buy. The card system worked out perfectly and the selling fee was only 1€.

The accessories table and me photo bombing again on the right. I loved my hair that day.

Saddly, I didn't sell a lot so all in all, I only made a plus of 21€ with selling three of my dresses. It would have been 45 but minus the 24€ fee, my win span was very reduced.
But, I found a cute little bag, and I bought it for 20€. So all that was left from that day was 1€. Haha.
Loooook at that cute baby. Isn't it rad?

So, my outfit of the day consisted of a secret honey dress, from the Disney princess collection, and a blouse from the same brand from the frozen collection.

I had to look up or else my face would have been in a complete shadow. Also, the princesses are not really visible but they are near the hem of the dress. Blue is cinderella, yellow is belle, purple is rapunzel and the green/red is Arielle.

    Hello lovelies,

on tumblr I found this link to super cute ribbon shoes on ebay.

But sadly, the didn't ship to Europe. So I searched and searched and found a shop on ali express who did. Google and reverse picture search works MAGIC.
My shoes arrived one month after the final transaction.

I ordered them in beige and I forgot to buy them one shoe size bigger (as I always do while shopping online...just to be sure) and they are therefore a tad too small. I can wear them but my toes almost hit the front every time, which is really uncomfortable.

The first thing I noticed when opening the box was that pungent smell of plastic. But after a few hours it vanished. The second thing, was the tiny and weirdly shaped ribbon.
Well, apart from that, the shoes are really totally cute and can be worn with himekaji/gyaru or casual lolita.

    Ebay 36,99$ / Aliexpress 28,86$

I work less than the last two years and therefore I have more time to doll up! Fuck yisss!

    Hello lovelies,

christmas in coming nearer and I took part in the Lolita gift exchange hosted by Lolita-Tips on Tumblr. My present is already on its way to Great Britain and I really hope it won't get lost. And that the person likes my present! As for now, I didn't get my gift yet but there is still some time.

In 10 days I'll be in Japan again, after a 5 years. I am already super excited and making lists about what to take, which bag to take, which dresses to take and etc. We already planned to go shopping for fukubukuro in Laforet on the 1st and on the 2nd of January we will be in Shibuya109.
Bibi and I already booked an appointment at the hairdresser for our exentions for the 29th of December. We also plan to go to Disneyland on the 4th of 5th because they will hold a new year special event. Hooray!

Last Saturday I went shopping with Matthias. I dressed up a little because I felt like it but it became a bit more than I wanted...

And although we didn't buy anything, we spent a fair amount of time Leiner (a furniture and household store). For our shared flat we still need a few things; a new sofa or Granndy chair for me, a dressing table and a new computer (my old one died in August). After that we went to the Pure living bakery, my favourite coffee-tea shop in Vienna. And they had ice-cream, and all of them were christmas themed! I got "Bratapfel" (baked apple) and "Zwetschkenröster" (sth. liked stewed plums) and both of them were super tasty.
They even had a waffle-person! So cute!

And here I am biting its head off. I am a mean titan, kekeke.
Can anyone recommend me a better hairspray? As you can see, my hair nearly lost all of its curls after only 4h. That's annoying.

And now some random pictures I made this week:
I am always trying to create something with my hair but most of the time it's just some random updo. But I really liked this idea. I was a mermaid!

Last Sunday I had a family lunch and after the food we went to a store called "Brass Monkey" in Vienna and they served delicious cupcakes and hot chocolate. The hot chocolate is made out of real chocolate they chop into small pieces and disolve in milk. It was so delicious! And this was my apple-mango filled cupcake with white chocolate topping.

I have the feeling, that people want to stuff us and eat us at work. They always give us sweets, cookies and chocolate. But thanks so much.

    All the best,
