    Hello lovelies,

at the bring and buy last weekend I realized I have been a lolita for 15 years, for me this means that I have been wearing lolita fashion for half of my life. This is so crazy!

I found animexx, a German anime and manga site back in 2004 because I loved reading manga and watching anime, duh. I registered and immediately found out that I am not the only one in Vienna who loved them.
I was introduced to Lolita from watching various Visual Kei bands, especially the band Lareine. In 2004 I started wearing my first lolita outfit, which was actually the first Communion dress of my sister, at a Visual Kei meet-up and I guess it just went downhill from then on. Just kidding :D.

My style changed a lot since 2004. It started out very sweet, went on to very casual and I think I am on the classic level now, with some OTT influences.

To celebrate this joyous 15 anniversary year I made a lolita through the years collage. Which year do you like best? Or find most ridiculous?
    lolita fashion, coordinate, lolita anniversary,

I couldn't find any pictures from 2011, I was concentrating more on cosplay that year.
Looking back, I had so many weird coordinations but they all helped me grow and move on. I am pretty confident with my style, in and out of lolita and those 15 years also helped me shake off a bit of my introvertness and even enjoy talking to my fellow lolitas. It took me about 10 years to really feel good in the Austrian Lolita community, better late than never.

What is your lolita over the years story?

    All the best,

    Auris Lothol

    Hello lovelies,

I gave up on tumblr after 17th of December because they implemented a nsfw ban. Usually my top 10 lolita outfits came from there but I decided to make my own top 10 and showcase my favourite coords from last year. The order is chronologically.

This coord is from March, I made the dress myself and paired it with dreamV shoes and a secret honey blouse. I think I only went shopping and for lunch that day and didn't wear it for a meet-up.

This one is from March too. I tried to come up with the tackiest, OTT princess coord but in the end it still looked so toned down. The dress and tights are from Angelic Pretty, shoes are DreamV again and the wrist cuffs are from bodyline.
And the last coord from March, it was a very busy lolita month. I wore this outfit for the CD release party of an Austrian lolita band duo. The dress is from Innocent world, blouse is secret honey again and I am not sure of the tights.

I wore this for the Lolita Teekränzchen in April. It was near Schloss Belvedere so i decided to go there for a stroll and take some nice pictures. The dress is from a taobao brand, the rest is offbrand.
Hello May. I wore this outfit for a j-fashion bring and buy. Dress is from a taobao brand again but the shoes are from rosemarie seoir.

My sister, M. and I went to a cute Cafe in June and that was my coordinate. The dress is from Magic tea party.
And June again. I count that as a lolita coord and it was my version of a Hufflepuff lolita. I wore it for a Harry Potter convention it Austria. The dress, overdress and even the hat are handmade.

I wore this bonnet on two different occasions in July so July is official big bonnet month. The outfit was worn for another lolita teekränzchen. I think all items except for the bag are taobao or offbrand.

And suddenly we are in September because that was my coord for the Angelic Pretty tea party at Connichi. Dress is Angelic pretty of course but the bag is from Innocent world and the shoes are from DreamV. The bolero is handmade.

Another witch hat? Can only be Halloween month, I mean, October. I wore this for a j-fashion meet up in little Britain. I am not sure darker coords suit me. The dress is from Souffle Song, it is a bit big because I got the wrong size.

What is your favourite coord from 2018?

    All the best,

    Auris Lothol

    Hello lovelies,

it's time for my lolita fashion top 10. Once again outfits which were unexpected got more notes than the ones I liked more. Weird, but ok.

    10.
This was my coordinate for the Viennese Lolita teekränzchen in May. The dress is from Infanta. The red rose hair clip is selfmade.
    More here

    9.
The next oufit is from the Lolita teekränzchen in June. I am not really fan of the Bodyline skirt anymore because the print is too much for me. Top is from Infanta, shoes from Rosemarie seoir.
    More here.

    8.
Lolita Teekränzchen again, this time from October. The dress is from A3, the blouse is from Infanta again and the hair piece is selfmade.
    More here.

    7.
This is a vintage inspired coordinate from a mini spring tea party. I made the dress myself, the head piece is from Bodyline.
    More here.

    6.
This coord is regency inspired. The dress is from L'armoire de Versailles.
    More here

    5.
Another Lolita Teekränzchen coordinate, this time it's from August. The blouse is from Lily J., the dress is from Metamorphose and the shoes and hair bow are from Bodyline.
    More here.

    4.
I filmed a hair tutorial that day. Don't ask me why there's a paper bag clip in the background? The OP is from Baby the stars shine bright.
    More here.

    3.
This is from the Lolita Teekränzchen in August. Without all these teekränzchen it would have been a very boring lolita year. The jsk is from r-series and the shoes are from bodyline. Can you spot the birds on my head?
    More here.

    2.
For the first lolita teekränzchen in February ever I wore this cute Angelic Pretty dress with a mighty kingdom overdress.
    More here

    1. Number one this year is no suprise at all.
The amazing TU ART and I had a small lolita photoshooting and the pictures are amazing.
Dress is from Yolanda, Shoes from DreamV/Yumetenbo.

How did you like this year's fashion top 10?

    Hello lovelies,

after the cosplay year I present you my lolita year.
Here are the top ten by notes count from tumblr.
I noticed that tumblr and instagram are so different from their notes count. Instagram likes my lolita more than it likes my larme and casual stuff and it's quite the opposite on tumblr.

    10.
My cat loves to photobomb me. I don't like that outfit that much or my pose (or my face) but...it managed to get into the top 10.
    Skirt and blouse: Innocent world
    Tumblr

    9.

I combined a btssb op with an axes femme cardigan for a small shopping trip. Little girls loved my outfit.
OP: Baby the stars shine bright
    Cardigan: Axes femme
    Tumblr

    8.
I never thought that people actually liked this coordinate. At least, I didn't like it that much. In my opinion I shouldn't have matched white and black pearls. But my selfmade Italian Reta looks good with that jsk from Souffle song.
    OP: Souffle song
    Shoes: Jesus Diamante
    Tumblr

    7.
I wore this on the second day of the Leipzig Book faire (LBM). The hat is vintage and I made a cute Begere (rococo flat hat) out of it. The OP is one of my favourite ones and it is from Yolanda.
    Shoes: DreamV
    OP: Yolanda
    Tumblr

    6.

This dress and its shipping cost me a fortune. But I didn't regret buying it. I also like the outfit for obvious reasons (birds, biiiiirds).
    OP: R-Series
    Cardigan: Liz lisa
    Wig: Lockshop
    Tumblr

    5.

This coordinate was made because of a challenge in my local lolita community. We had to put together the cheapest coordinate we had. I didn't manage to put it below 100€ but it's not that bad.
To be honest, I don't like my face or my pose in the first picture at all...
    Blouse and bag: Angelic Pretty
    Skirt: Bodyline
    Tumblr

    4.

I threw together a quick coordinate for some fabric shopping. My casual coordinates seem to get more notes than my more elaborate ones.
    Jsk: Magic tea party
    Cardigan: liz lisa
    Bag: DreamV
Bow: Baby the stars shine bright
    Tumblr

    3.

I wore my Yolanda dress for my birthday party. The owner of the café where I celebrated loved my outfit and even gave me a bottle of rose lemonade for free. Yey!
    OP: Yolanda
    Necklace: Metamorphose temps de fille
    Tumblr

    2.
I don't know why this picture was so popular. The lipstick I am wearing is just horrible and my face looks like a huge beige-brown mess....Never wear a light pink lipstick. It doesn't look good on Barbie either.
    Jsk and Blouse: Innocent World
    Headpiece: Taobao
    Tumblr

    1.

At least the first place has a coordinate I really like. It's pink and white and frilly and I have a huge bow on my head. I wore this for the lolita pop-up store in Vienna. I realized again how awkward I was with other Lolitas.
Jsk and necklace: Metamorphose temps de fille
    Bow: La pafait
    Bag: Innocent World
    Shoes: DreamV/Yumetenbo
    Blouse: Frills
    Tumblr

    All the best,

     Hello lovelies,

this time I will post my Lolita year 2015 with my most popular coords at first.
By most popular I mean the highest note count on tumblr.

I am starting with number five.
That was my coord for LBM. I was the dream doll of every little girl. There were so many mothers who asked me for a picture, that was really cute.

    Number four is this:
This was my coord for Connichi. The op is from Angelic pretty. I have to say, the plush jacket was super warm.

My number three is this coord:

Souly made this picture for me in the gardens of Schloss Schönbrunn. I really like the picture. The dress is from Infanta.

Number three is only a casual coord for shopping
This is maybe my least favourite coord because I just wanted something quick for shopping and didn't really put much time and energy into it. So I was very confused by the notes. But oh well, tumblr works in mysterious ways.

And building up to my coord, which got the most notes this year...
    *drum roll*
Tadah! Not really my best coord too but I think the people just fell in love with my cute little cat. My sweet little rascal. Look at heir cute tail!

     All the best,

    Aurîs☆

    Hello  lovelies,

I tried to gather all of my cosplays together for a review of this year but I noticed that although I wore some of the cosplays on a con, I didn't have good pictures. And with a few I don't even have bad pictures...because I was really too lazy for photoshootings this year...

    • Female Austria, worn at LBM 13 and Japancity
    •  Female Norway worn at Dokomi and Aninite
    •  Chrono Guards - November worn at Connichi

    • Viking Norway, worn at Fuyu Con

    • Hetaween Hungary worn at a cosplay even in vienna and at made in japan.
And these I managed to do and even wore to cons but do not have pictures...>_<
    • Takashiro from Bible Black, worn at Akicon

    •  I redid my old Hikari Cosplay and made a new one. Worn at YaYuCo

    • Mirka Fortuna from Trinity Blood, worn at Made in Japan and Animagic.

8 Cosplays this year. That's not a lot but not too bad either. :)

As for fashion outfits I got more than last year...

Gyaru fashion (Hime gyaru, hime lolita and himekaji)

    Lolita coords:

Long post short, it was a good year.
Next year I'll probably do less cosplays but they will be even fancier :)
I wish you all the best for next year!
