    Hello lovelies,
can you imagine that the last mini tea party the Austrian lolita community held was on the first of September 2019 and the last one I attended internationally was in February 2020?
And with that, the bad corona streak is hopefully over because last Sunday, on the 19th of May, I finally attended a tea party again. Even though it was small in size with about 25 attendees it satisfied my tea party cravings a bit.
Café Landtmann as a choice of venue was also great. We had minimal disturbances from people trying to take pictures or videos of us because we had a room at the back for ourselves, plus the service was immaculate. The food was tasty with a good mix of meat and vegetarian options. For dessert, all vegans got a large piece of vegan cake and the rest had a plate with small bites of different assorted sweets. I ate the strawberry piece and it was so good.

The waiter was even so nice and waited while we were doing pictures.

I was really looking forward to writing valentines cards but the organizer forgot the paper at home. Awww.

But I won second place with Ivy in the best-dressed contest and M. and Bibi von first place. I was so happy for him!

He got a Violet fane goodie bag with these little planners and the bag.

I got a purse from Mystic Alice as my prize. This was a perfect price because I had already bought a bag from her and couldn't decide if I wanted a purse with it or not. I did not buy one and I am pretty happy about that, as I got one for free.

I can't seem to recall the name of one vendor, but the others were Violet Fane, Mystic Alice, and le petit four.

Left is the le petit four vendor and on the right is the one I can't recall.

This was the Mystic Alice table. I remember getting the purple bat socks in my goodie bag at the last tea party.

Now, enjoy some of the selfies, the group picture and pictures with my lolita friends!

Matthias and I are both wearing our L'esprit de la noblesse clothes.

I bought such a cute bag at Mystic Alice's store, it's made out of real leather and I want to use it as my new daily bag because my old cat bag is already falling apart.

The bag also has a separate shoulder strap which I already exchanged. I just hope that, because the bag is made out of leather, it will really hold for a long time. Plus it was 125€.

Matthias bought the two brooches on the left and the necklace on the top. He got the brooch as a prize for getting in first place.

And this is the rest of the prize, I got the pink purse and he got the bag and the planners. It was funny, he bought the same bag from violet fane just an hour prior winning best dressed and was now in possession of two bags. But he decided to keep both of them. He just loves the designs from Violet Fane.

    Have a great weekend,

    Hello lovelies,

a few weeks ago I visited the Italian Tea party Vitae Essentia in Rome with a few girls from the Austrian lolita fashion club (no joke, we really are an official club here, although not every lolita is a member).
It was held in the St. Regis hotel, which actually was right around the corner of our hotel and the main train station.
The location was marvelous but our event was not very large. We had a separate room for tea and sandwiches which opened up after we satisfied our thirst for shopping and the fashion show. The fashion show was actually in the room with most of the sellers and only separated by a few chairs.

Quite a few Lolitas had to stand during the raffle and the fashion shows.

There were fashion shows from My inspiration,  AmaStacia, and two others but I forgot which ones :(. After a small break, we even had a special fashion show from Angelic Pretty.

At the raffle I won a small swan brooch from le petite four.
    M. bought so many brooches, but I would have too if I'd wear them. There were so many cute accessoires. In the end I only bought an Angelic Pretty Tops Lucky bag.

My only big critique was that we didn't have any drinks for hours before we were led to the separate room for tea. I was so damn thirsty by the time we were served tea, I had my cup refilled a few times before I felt better. The waiters were already super annoyed because the whole table ordered tea and water so many times.
The ladies from Team Austria and I sat on one big table together and it was super fun. We had three plate of sandwiches and three of sweet treats, we were stuffed afterwards.

After the food, there was no program and the other lolitas and I made some more pictures before leaving.
Thank you for the great event!

Here are some more picture from the event:

I wore the dress from Angelic Pretty I bought last year called le jardin des anges in purple and an Angelic Pretty blouse I bought just for this occasion. The sleeves were enormous, I didn't realize that until I wore the blouse the first time. The shoes are from Taobao and were also bought for this event. I tried to stay in the colour scheme white/purple/silver.
I made the head dress myself from polymer clay. At first, I thought I made the stripes too thin and already saw them go all over the place, but they didn't. Hooray. With the cross and the angels the crown had a good stability.
The plan was to wear a stocking with little angels, but they didn't arrive in time, therefore I just wore my favourite ankle socks.

    Hello lovelies,

the Austrian lolita group organized a small afternoon tea and shopping event, limited to 30P max. It took place on the 1st of September in Cafe Landtmann, a wonderful location in the heart of Vienna.
Mystic Alice was the official vendor but we also had items from Saki's forestglade jewelry and Violet Fane. I loved the bags from Mystic Alice but I had a tight budget for that event and in the end I only got a brooch.

    M. was not at the event but he loves Violet Fane brooches so I bought him two. I think he already bought the rest of the series and he only missed these.

The brooches from Mystic alice were so cute, I just love historic portraits.

There were sandwiches and small sweet treats on every table and we all pigged out because the waiters always brought more. We also had one cold and one warm drink included. I got the watermelon lemonade and it was so good.

There was a folder again for the valentines card and I received so many sweet ones. I was really touched! Thank you so much.

My outfit got second place at the contest but there were three other girls as well who got second place. haha. My favourite outfit that day also got first place, it was well deserved.
I wore library lady from Haenuli with the self-made hair piece I made (see the post about it here). The print is so pretty, I was so lucky to get it at the last reservation round when Haenuli closed. It is so sad that she stopped doing Lolita clothes.

    All the best,
