    Hello lovelies,

Kirschblütenheim at Donauinsel in Vienna is a must-see destination during the cherry blossom season. The cherry grove was designed by the renowned Japanese artist group "to the woods" in collaboration with the city of Vienna's Department 49 back in 2002. The Kirschblütenheim is a part of the 1,000 Japanese cherry trees gifted to the city of Vienna on the occasion of Austria's 1,000th anniversary.

These stunning cherry trees beautifully bloom with crimson flowers every year from mid to late April, making it an idyllic spot for visitors and nature lovers. This unique and breathtaking art space is a reinterpretation of the traditional Japanese garden, and it is a symbol of the strong bond between Austria and Japan.

A year ago, I visited the Kirschblütenheim at Donauinsel in Vienna during the cherry blossom season. It was a day filled with sunshine, but don't be fooled, it was super cold and windy and we enjoyed a picnic amidst the cute pink blossoms. We also took some photos to capture the moment.

Recently, I received the photos from the photographer, and they are truly stunning. These photos perfectly capture the beauty of the cherry blossom.

This is one of my favourite.

All hail the cherry blossom overlords!

This is also great. I looks so romantic

I hope you had fun with these pictures and have a great weekend,

    Hello lovelies,

two weeks ago I had a wonderful and sunny spring day in Vienna. And yesterday I had to fight against wind and snow to go to my sister's birthday dinner. I hate snow and the cold so much.

But back to two weeks ago; while it was chilly and very windy, at least the sun was out and the sky was partially blue.

I met my sister with my SO and both of them took pictures of me. We also made a short video and a small reel because spring must be cherished. Especially when two weeks later the city is covered in a white blanket again.

Of course most of the time when I did my pictures the sky was just white. That's just my luck.

I decided to wear my L'esprit de la noblesse dress which I got a few weeks ago (video and review is coming up soon) and a large hat with flowers. It's actually a flower crown I just re-used. With the coat my coord looks like that of a sassy grandma.

I would love to tell you that I played with photoshop and the pictures are like this because I wanted them, but honestly, I still have no idea how to edit pictures. So this is more pink than the others but I love the pinkish and warm hue the cherry blossoms have.

Even though my bangs are everywhere, I really like this picture. It's not that pink and only has a pastel pink tint

Real laugh pictures are rare because I don't like my teeth showing. But I kind of like it! Plus the sleeves just look like a big ball of fluff.

No photo shooting without a picture from the back! At least not in this household.

The following is the another of my favourite. It's so soft and ink with all the pretty flowers around me.

Another one just in a different angle. All in all, I have three full body shots and 27 shots of exactly these details with the flowers around it. I was so mad when I saw the pictures at home because they were not usable for instagram. At least they look nice, but still :(.

And lastly the video we made on youtube

I hope you have a nice day and a wonderful spring day without snow,

    Auris Lothol

    Hello lovelies,

how have you all been? I am so sorry for the semi-hiatus, I am just so busy. In November 2020 I suddenly got more work and I was working 40-60h a week. Plus in January I was studying for my university exams which I took in the last week of the month (and passed each and every one of them, hooooray) and then in February I wrote my first, of four, bachelor paper on film noir. It was so exhausting and I am so happy when I handed in my paper. From March on I only had my usual classes so it is much better again. Work is still exhausting but I hope it will get better soon. I almost quit, to be honest. It was just too much.

    So, about today's topic.

In 2019 my friend Souly (Il_carnefice on instagram) came over from Germany for the weekend and we had a spontaneous witchy photo shooting because we felt like it. The weekend was so much fun, I hope this pandemic is over soon.

So, for the character, we thought of a little witch trying to study and do some herbology or potions. I already wore this dress but with a black overskirt for the Harry potter event at Rosenburg, but this time, I wore the dress with a white frilly apron. The hat is the same, the tutorial for it can be found here, but I beat it up a bit. The witch is studious and loves her magic, she is kind and loves cats. She has cute freckles underneath the big round glasses and wears braids most of the time.

It was so good, that I like small glasses and got quite a few of them because they were perfect as props. The book is also from the 19th century so the tattered look is genuine.

The dried petals are actually tea.

The funniest thing about this, is that I couldn't find my wand. So I remembered that my sister once gave me a chocolate wand for christmas or my birthday so I just used that. I had to put down the wand in between because the chocolate melted so fast.

I hope you like the pictures,

go and visit my friend Souly's page and my patreon!

    Have a great week,

    Auris Lothol
