    Hello lovelies,

did you know that Prague has a lot of wonderful vintage shops? When I was visiting the city in October 2021 I made a small vintage shop tour, as seen in this video.

The whole journey can be found on  Google maps.
Start is at the central train station and it's a 90mins walk.
Be aware that this is the information from October 21. A lot can change over the time.

The first stop is The Vintage Prague
Address: Petrské nám. 1186, 110 00 Nové Město
    Opening time: Mon-Sat 10.30am-6.30pm Sun 11am-5pm

The shop mostly has vintage brand clothing like Kenzo, Miu Miu oder Jil Sander and is more on the expensive side. They have women's and men's clothing as well as accessories.

The next shop on the list is Bohemian retro.
    Address: Chvalova 1202/8, 130 00 Praha 3-Žižkov
    Opening time: Wed-Sat 12pm-5pm

Bohemian retro is a true vintage shop that has everything; men's and women's clothing, accessories, and collectibles. Their stock changes often so be quick if you find something you like.

Kukmàl Linda is the third stop on this list.
    Address: Bořivojova 17, 130 00 Praha 3-Žižkov
    Opening time:  Mo-Sun 3pm-10pm

It's a vintage and second-hand shop but also hosts concerts, open mics, and karaoke. It has a wonderful mix of women's clothing, accessories, shoes, etc.

Just around two corners of Kukmál Linda is the shop Sugar bat.
    Address: Jagellonská 1305/14, 130 00 Vinohrady
    Opening time: Tue-Fri: 12-8pm Sat 12-6pm

They specialize on modern retro bands like Hell bunny, Banned or collectif and have no true vintage or retro items.

Take a shortcut through the park to reach Fifty-Fifty.
    Address: Slezská 884, 120 00 Vinohrady
    Opening hours: Mo-Fr 10am-6.30pm Sa 10.30am-6.30pm Sun 12pm-7pm

This shop is specialized on retro sports wear and has a decent men's section on the second floor.

The last shop on this list is PunkTura
    Address: Vodičkova 10, 110 00 Nové Město
    Opening hours: Fr-Mi 12pm-6pm, Thurs 11am-5pm

Go to the back and the shop is located on the left side of the courtyard. The main theme of the shop is punk and it has a good mix of vintage and recycled clothing.

Have fun and enjoy your vintage shopping!

    All the best,

    Hello lovelies,

sometimes social media also has its good sides. Yesterday I found this amazing and relative new vintage shop in Vienna called magic oyster vintage, opened in March 2018.
It is near Mariahilfer Straße, the longest shopping street in Vienna and therefore relatively well located.
I visited the shop today after work and was thrilled. The shop keeper was super friendly and even made me a cup of tea. There was no other costumer so I could chat with the shop keeper and browse to my hearts content, and there were so many items. I was in my own personal heaven.
The price range is normal for Austria which means I didn't find an item under 70€ but no worries, cards are accepted. .
The white dress I bought was already very "cheap" with 79€.
I also found cute hats, corsets, dresses and shoes, not only old but also new vintage brand like collectif or what katie did.

When I entered the shop I thought it just had one room and a smaller ajourning room with the dressing rooms but no! It has another huge room with underwear and even more vintage clothing.

    Address: 21, Esterházygasse, 1060 Wien
    Opening house: Tues-Fr 11am to 7pm, Sat 11am to 5.30pm

    Hello lovelies,

two years ago I started collecting vintage pattern and sewing magazines. Ebay and an Austrian site similar to ebay called willhaben.at are my best go-to for these old magazines. I am thinking about maybe scanning the magazines but some of them are really old and crumbling so I am not sure if that's a good idea. Maybe photographing them would be a better idea.

    Hello lovelies,

last weekend I went to a mini theatre sale in the 7th district. I read about it on Facebook, which I rarely use and dislike but in finding these small and really random events it is unbeatable.
The shop was really, really tiny and the shopkeeper would only let in six people at a time. In the end nothing really caught my eye and M. and I left again.
We went to a vintage shop near our place and there I immediately found four new pieces.
The shop is called "Extraschön" (extra beautiful) and is located at Kaiserstraße 67, 1070 Vienna. The shopkeeper is always so friendly and already knows us (no idea if that's good or bad though ;D).

The first two pieces are from Lindy Bop.

The next piece is underwear...perfect for my vintage underwear collection. Hooray!

The next dress is hand made and super cute, I have no idea though when and where the dress was made.
I think it is rather modern, so no original dress. Nevertheless, I look super cute in it.

My lipstick collection also grew that weekend, I got some new lip liner and lipstick (and two eyeliner).

My outfit that day was already in tune with spring, I wore my new Liz Lisa dress with a chiffon blouse I mostly use for lolita fashion. I really love chiffon but you can really only wear it once before washing it again.

The hairstyle is pretty much larme. The dress looks a bit weird on my boobs because they are a bit bigger than standard Japanese boob size, but that is really not hard.

    Have a nice week,

    all the best,

    Auris Lothol

    Hello lovelies,

there was a new vintage market in Vienna today called trash & treasure edition one.
It was a super hot day and the temperatures were far over 30°c but the rooms where cooler on the inside and the girls from the shop brought us cold lemon water.

There were so many beautiful things and I only had a limited budget, even though they really were on sale and therefore super cheap!
I saw a flower crown with little birds on them and fell in love but sadly, it was not in my budget.
Even thought the quality bad and the picture is blurry, you can see all the headpieces and hats they had. And the closest head has the wonderful flower crown with birds on it. I envy the person who buys it.

They also had cute rings and earrings for good prices. And the design of the items where really marvellous. My favourite were earrings with a rain cloud on a blue background. I wanted to get them for my sister but neither Matthias nor I had enough money for the extra item...

Teacups and plates etagerie! I love the idea. But okay, I am biased because I love everything which implies tea.

And those where the dresses. Each and every one of them where 100% my style but I didn't want to try them on because I knew my boobs are currently to big for those lacey dresses. The one on the far left side, is an original vintage dress but was only 50€. But lengthwise it was also a bit too long for me. I am only 155cm and would have looked even shorter.

Edita Rosenrot is the lady who created those wonderful hats. She told me that she didn't have an online shop yet, but it was sure to come. I would be delighted!
If you want to check out her work, click here.

I bought a cute little strawberry hairpin and a mermaid bracelet. All in all, 20€! It was exactly in my budget, yey me.

    Close up of the details!

If you are interested, the vintage market will be held tomorrow (8th of August) and on Sunday (9th of August) too.
The full address is Blechturmgasse 23-27, 1050 Vienna.

    Have a nice weekend,

    Aurîs☆
