    Hello lovelies,

next week is Animuc so I will be very busy this weekend. But, it's Easter time so no work on Monday. Hurray!

Jesus Diamante is the brand if you want to wear Himegyaru and it is also ridiculously expensive. One dress is as expensive as a lolita dress, sometimes it's even more expensive.

But all in all I own eleven  dresses, two pair of shoes, one head bow, two bags, two camisoles and one cardigan.

A ridiculous price, if I had bought everything from the store.
But there are really other ways to build yourself a himegyaru wardrobe full of Jesus diamante and really, I never paid more than 100€ for a dress.
    1. Girls from the Gyaru sales or Lolita sales livejournal community or Hime sales on facebook sometimes sell Jesus Diamante for a very good price. I got three dresses, the head bow, two camisoles and a cardigan on these sites. And for one dress I never paid more than 120€ including shipping. I even got a camisole, the cardigan, the head bow and one dress for 120€. It was a dream come true.
    2. Yahoo Auction Japan is a very good site to buy from. They also have a lot of secondhand Jesus Diamante for a fair price. Use Buyee to buy from Yahoo Auction Japan. But be careful: while you can look out for good deals in the gyaru and lolita sales community in your country (no taxes, reduced shipping fee), this option may seem cheap at first but never forget, you also have to pay for the shipping from Japan, sometimes taxes and a standard and handling fee from Buyee. I bought the fluffy bag, the black shoes on the bottom picture on the left side and the black dress with the bow in front on the top picture from Buyee but I can't remember what the total was.
    3. The third option is closet child. They too are a second hand shop but they have an online and a physical shop. When I was in Tokyo in Winter 14/15 I spent a lot of time in closet child, I can even price myself in having been in every closet child in Tokyo (yes, yes, what an achievement, congratulations, me) and found some very good deals. I bought four dresses and most of the dresses I bought were only about 50-80€. I also bought one pair of shoes, the right ones on the bottom picture.
    4. I also bought directly from the Jesus Diamante store, never the full price though. There is that thing called fukubukuro which Japanese shops sell from the 2nd of January. It's a bag filled with goods for a certain price. I went to the Jesus Diamante shop and got a bag for about 200€ and got three dresses out of it. A fantastic deal, to say the least.
I hope my guide helped fellow Himegyaru to achieve their perfect Jesus Diamante wardrobe and to not be scared by the prices they see on the original JD homepage.

    Have wonderful Easter holidays,

    Aurîs☆

    Hello lovelies,

Sewing your own clothes for Lolita is accepted if you use the right fabric, lace and if the outcome doesn't look like a Milano scam. But I never made my own things for Gyaru, therfore I put together some pattern, which are usable for Himegyaru and Himekaji.
All these pattern I am going to list can be used as basic pattern and it is for you to decide how to decorate it with lace, flowers, and ribbons.

I wanted to include the burda numbers where I got the pictures from but these are only in German. I didn't know that there were different patterns for the countries so take the patterns as suggestions for it you find similar patterns...

    1.

Use this pattern for dresses like this:

    2.
You can use it for babydroll dresses:

If you want to have sleeves on your dress, use this pattern
Of course it is always and option to make the dresses shorter or the sleeves longer or shorter...

    3. Here are some more suggestions with a waistline
The dress on the bottom left is perfectly suited for a nice Himegyaru dress....add sleeves and a heart shaped neckline, some ribbons in front and more lace and it would be perfect...

I think bottom left plus top right would fit nicely too..

Fabrics to use: flower prints, cotton, maybe Jersey but be careful with that fabric, and chiffon.

     Have a nice weekend,

    Hello lovelies,

my project finally came to an end! I finished the costume! And even though I am not please with some details (VERY heavy wig, ribbons missing, small flowers, the saddle and tail not really fitting properly) I will change that when it's fotoshooting time! I didn't get to do any pictures at all on the con, except for random pictures for photographers and my dear friend Dee, who did some awesome portrait pictures for me.

    The original picture by Sakizou!

    My cosplay:

Those two pictures are from the official Nippon Nation Album on Facebook.   © Almasan Adrian

    And then selfie time...
    Instagram
Laura was doing Trachten Roderich Austria from Aph (Hetalia) and Dee and Matthias were doing Dean and 'Sam from Supernatural. Dee had wonderful sideburns, saddly they are invisible on this picture...

    Slippeddee's instragram
And this is the picture Dee made from me. I actually had pink contacts but due to the filter my eyes look very reptilian..:)!

Nippon nation was a bit boring for us because we were not interested in the workshops or competition. They only show we watched was the cosplay contest on Sunday. Some groups were really really good!

So for Sunday, that was my himegyaru outfit. I love being dressed like this so much but I didn't like peoples' comments on the street, stating it was a very ugly look. Oh I am sorry, I didn't know you were an expert on japanese fashion...
    Instagram
I finally wore my dreamv dress again. Last time I wore it was...2years ago? OTL The shhoes are from DreamV too, the bag is from Jesus Diamante (I really love it, but it gets yellow patches already? help...). I got the crown as a present from Matthias in Disneyland. It is very dear to me *_*!

I can't wait to do pictures with the costume although I have no idea how I should manage the wig again. It was very uncomfortable!

    have a nice week,

    Hello lovelies,

Saturday was a really spontainous Gyaru meeting. It was announced on Wednesday and it had a theme again; Pirate.
Luckily I could pick out stuff from my new flat (I am currently living at Si's place because the new place is still a catastrophe...but that's a different story) which were Hime and Pirate like.
Even though I am not really happy with the coord, it's the best I could do in that short time and limited recources (as my clothes were still in boxes at that time).

It took me about 2h to get ready and then I couldn't attend. asdfgh. Annoying!
It just pisses me off again, that I spend so much time doing the highlighting and then it completely blends in and you can't really see it anymore.

    Hello lovelies,

I had a little Teaparty with Plü, Si and Pi last Sunday. Due to the fact that we stayed indoor and just wanted to take a few pictures as remembrance, they didn't turn out that good. The light was off and the location horrible, but it was a day to remember :)! Pretty Plü aka Princess Panda in himegyaru was so wonderful. I envy her eyes because they turned out so large! *__* I just hate my bangs. They ruin everything ;_;!

    The last picture is just without the glitter and heart orgy. My baaaaangs asdfgh ;_;
    My himelolita outfit:
Dress: Angelic pretty, Wig: Prisila, crown: claire's, rest: offbrand
Plü's outfit, from my closet <3 p="">Dress: Jesus Diamante, Shoes: DreamV, Wig; prisila, rest: offbrand

As you can also see, the colour is really off, due to the bad light and the flash @_@! I really hope we get better pictures soon :3

On Saturday...I do not write my entries chronologically...I went with Simon to the first district in Vienna and wanted to go to Haas&Haas but the teashop was so full already. What a shame. But we found a cute little coffeeshop, full of kitsch, and drank our tea there. As in my case that was a hot chocolate! I once had a food allergy test and they said, I couldn't drink milk or eat anything that has milk in it at all. I always had tummy ache after consuming milk but I did anyway and now I am fine again. You just have to be hard headed XD!
And that was my outfit from Saturday...I called it, the Russian Princess Szventlanka...or Snow princess XD!
It's white and it is fluffy!!! And not, that's not real fur.

    Hello lovelies,

I'm back from YaYuCo. I feel like a marshmallow and could sleep all day long. The darkness is not helping with that mushy feeling I have since weeks.

To feel a bit more positive, I decided to feel good and wear my prisila wigs. And then make-up. And then everything went out of hand.

With and without filter. I like them both...

gyaru, himegyaru, hime, princess, auris lothol, prisila wig,

About YaYuCo, I can't really say much. We were there for only a couple of hours and most of the time, we either went shopping or made photos/watched others do photos.
I think, most of the time spent in Munich, we were at dear Zen't place and drinking tea...or buying tea...
    tea
Tadaaaah! I bought three teas at Ronnefeldt and one at Eilles. Also four boxes and a tea thermometer. Perfect shopping day is perfect! And I can say, the Vanilla-Apple green tea and the chocolate chai are delicious! I could drink them all day.

Our pattern, worth 323€ also arrived! That was a big box!
    Nehelenia pattern, historical sewing,
    And these are mine:
Nehelenia Patterns, renaissance head dress, bodice, chemise dress, robe a la francaise, 1920s underwear
    I bought a 20s underwear -, Renaissance headdress -, bodice from 1550-1630 - , a chemise dress -, a robe a la francaise - and a robe a la anglaise pattern.
All six patterns for just 100 euro from Nehelenia Pattern. Ha, how I love this site. I think I could buy every pattern from this site!

    Hello lovelies,

I had quite a few busy days. Man I am really happy when I have three fixed work days and then two university days! I signed a contract for 120h per month for work but now I worked 150h. I feel exhausted. I have no idea how other cosplayers manage to work and to cosplay. Well, I do university, work and cosplay. Yessssh :D

More of the 30 day lolita challenge!

Day 18 – A picture of your favorite lolita style.
Definitely sweet lolita with pooooof hair!
    Day 19 – What’s in your make-up bag?
Mascara, oil control paper, nail file, kohl, perfume, tweezers, lipgloss, powder, eyeshadow brush, lash adhesive, eye shadow in pink, eyebrow trimmer, safety pin, cotton bud, hair pin
    Day 20 – A picture of a lolita friend.
    Lolita friend...oh heavens.
I have to skip this question |D sorry!
Last Sunday was a j-fashion meet up in Vienna. I was really happy to not suffer from my usual grass allergy even thought I forgot to take my anti-allergy tablets.
I had a super great time, meeting a lot of sweet girls and eating little pizza snacks from B.
The pictures were all done by Greencat! Thank you very much!

I got to wear my Jesus Diamante dress and my prisila wigs. FINALLY! ah~ <3 div="">
    There is even a video

My outfit consisted of following items
    Dress: Jesus Diamante
    Wig: Prisila
    Shoes: Tally Weijl
    Ribbon: Bodyline
    Bag: Innocent world
    Ring: Angelic Pretty
    Rest: offbrand
And all in all my outfit was so expensive. It was 400€. What am I doing with my money (and life? XD)
