     Hello lovelies,

my goal to upload a video every month was successful for this month. But the clock is already ticking for next month.

This years month is all about my japan haul. As my channel is all about japanese fashion, historical costuming and lace making and I will try to upload one for each of these themes every three month. Last month was a bobbin lace video, this month was a japanese fashion video so the next will be a historical costuming video. I hope you are as exited as I am.

    Hello lovelies,

a few of you might remember, that I uploaded a few gaming videos on my channel. I removed all of them again as I didn't like the combination of sewing, lace making and gaming. I have also decided to focus entirely on lace making, sewing, and Japanese/historical fashion. As a result, I won’t be uploading any more travel videos too unless they’re related to these themes.

But don't worry, I am not giving up gaming. The gaming content will henceforth move to a completely new home! Since I love gaming and sharing that passion, I’ve created a separate channel called ‪@AurisAdventures‬.

Right now, I’m playing My Time at Sandrock and plan to add Coral Island soon. I’d love for you to check it out if you are also into comfy games, and subscribe! Thank you all so much for your support.

     Hello lovelies,

surprisingly, the video for the regency picnic is out earlier than my written post about it. Unbelievable. But it was fun cutting and writing the script, it all happened in one afternoon.

I hope you have fun and wait for my written post to enjoy more details.

    Hello lovelies,

I made it! I finally made it. I finished my newest Renaissance dress video. It's only a year old (and there are videos in line that are way older) but never mind that.

I am very proud of the result and think, it was an amazing success for one week of constant handsewing.

As mentioned in the video, the only seams I made with the machine were the skirt seams. It would have taken too much time to do them by hand and I was running out of time by the end of the week.

I hope you like it and don't forget to comment, like and subscribe!

    All the best,

    Hello lovelies,

in March I visited a two-day textile lace exhibition at Schloss St. Martin, Styria which was organized by my bobbin lace teacher, Emma de Ro.

It was amazing seeing lace made with different techniques from countries like Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden and etc.

The one from Sweden has two bobbins in the middle.

They also had occhi lace - or tatting, which is a bit different than bobbin lace. Instead of bobbins you use a little shuttle (or more if you are good)

When I was visiting in March Easter was just around the corner and there were a lot of easter eggs and easter decoration on sale.

    Picture taken by meinbezirk.at

The lace exhibition took place in the first floor of the castle and there was something to see in every room.

If you want to learn more about lace and the history of castle St. Martin, check out my newest video on youtube!

    Hello lovelies,

my new sewing vlog is finally on youtube, and only 3 days late.

But editing always eats so much time and I had to redo a few parts. I am not happy with the light and the glitches in the back but that's just the camera. Next time will be better, I hope!

     Hello lovelies,

I don't know how but I managed to cut, do the audio and upload it on youtube in less than 5 days. That must be my personal record. But here is it, the video I made about Belgium.

I used a stock picture for the preview picture because the weather was so bad. At least the light was great.

Enjoy the video and don't forget to subscribe!

The video I am referring to is the Burg Bernstein video and I talk about its 900 year old history and the hotel rooms that can be booked, as well as some historical personalities who lived there.

I hope you enjoy the video and don't forget to like and subscribe! Thank you so much!

     Hello lovelies,

I just wanted to give you a short heads up because I finished another video and it can be viewed on youtube.

It's about my trip to Rome with the very clickbait title "We snuck into the Vatican and met the Pope". We indeed somehow landed in the general audience of the pope but watch the video!

    Hello lovelies,

two weeks ago I had a wonderful and sunny spring day in Vienna. And yesterday I had to fight against wind and snow to go to my sister's birthday dinner. I hate snow and the cold so much.

But back to two weeks ago; while it was chilly and very windy, at least the sun was out and the sky was partially blue.

I met my sister with my SO and both of them took pictures of me. We also made a short video and a small reel because spring must be cherished. Especially when two weeks later the city is covered in a white blanket again.

Of course most of the time when I did my pictures the sky was just white. That's just my luck.

I decided to wear my L'esprit de la noblesse dress which I got a few weeks ago (video and review is coming up soon) and a large hat with flowers. It's actually a flower crown I just re-used. With the coat my coord looks like that of a sassy grandma.

I would love to tell you that I played with photoshop and the pictures are like this because I wanted them, but honestly, I still have no idea how to edit pictures. So this is more pink than the others but I love the pinkish and warm hue the cherry blossoms have.

Even though my bangs are everywhere, I really like this picture. It's not that pink and only has a pastel pink tint

Real laugh pictures are rare because I don't like my teeth showing. But I kind of like it! Plus the sleeves just look like a big ball of fluff.

No photo shooting without a picture from the back! At least not in this household.

The following is the another of my favourite. It's so soft and ink with all the pretty flowers around me.

Another one just in a different angle. All in all, I have three full body shots and 27 shots of exactly these details with the flowers around it. I was so mad when I saw the pictures at home because they were not usable for instagram. At least they look nice, but still :(.

And lastly the video we made on youtube

I hope you have a nice day and a wonderful spring day without snow,

    Auris Lothol

     Hi lovelies,

a few weeks ago I was in Prague and I loved it so much. Prague is one of my favourite cities, it kind of reminds me of Vienna all the time. Bohemia was long a part of the Hapsburg empire, it is no wonder that they look similar. I also had the same feeling in Krakow. As I have been to Prague numerous times already, I kind of ignored the most tourist-y places and they are therefore missing in the video.

Another thing I love about the Czech Republic is the food. I could bury myself in dumplings with sweet and sour cabbage. We have something similar in Austria but it just feels great having Czech food in Prague.

I hope you enjoy the video and subscribe if you haven't already.

    All the best,

    Auris Lothol
