Lolita Teekränzchen January 2019

January 20, 2019

Hello lovelies,

I have been in the Philippines over new year's eve and just returned on the 11th to Vienna again and this is the reason why I wasn't active for the last month. I will do a separate post for the Philippines as these require a entry on its own.

Today was our monthly Lolita meet-up again and this time we went to a restaurant instead of Cafe. It was called "Fromme Helene" and is an Austrian restaurant. I usually try to avoid Austrian restaurants because growing up as mixed I never had good memories of them but the restaurant turned out quite ok. Most of the costumers were old couples who left us alone and didn't question our looks.  Here is the full group:

I ate Pierogi, which actually is a polish dish and not an Austrian, filled with goats cheese and spinach dipped in garlic butter. To my surprise the dish was really good. For dessert I got Panna Cotta with berry sauce but the dish wasn't quite to my taste.

My outfit for this occasion was unusually dark. I wore the tartan check frederick trump jsk from Innocent World and a moi meme moitie blouse. The rest was offbrand.

The dress itself is quite warm, perfect for the very cold temperatures outside.
Oh, how I miss the 30C° from the Philippines.

All the best and have a nice week,

Auris Lothol

  1. Pierogi are my life! It's my ultimate comfort food and I guess if I had to pick one food to eat for the rest of my life, it'd be that. Never tried to have them with garlic butter though (that's very untraditional) - however, I also love garlic butter, so I will try that at some point, sounds delicious! I really like your coord, it's very classy. You manage to look elegant whilst warm, which is a tough act of balancing.

    1. I also enjoy pierogi a lot, when I was in Poland I basically lived off them. :) And I can really only recommend them with some garlic butter, they were delicious.

      Thank you!
